First Article Inspection Report — Our 5-Step Process

Every new aerospace part number receives a complete FAIR per EN 9102 before series production approval. The dossier is digitally archived for 10 years and available for customer or regulatory audit on request.

Balloon-annotated drawing

Every dimension numbered and cross-referenced to the measurement report. CMM report with actual values for all key characteristics (KCs).

AMS material certificates

Original mill certificates with heat/lot number, chemical analysis, mechanical test results. Traceability from bar stock to finished part.

Process capability (Cpk)

Initial process capability study (Ppk ≥ 1.67) on all KCs. Cpk maintained ≥ 1.33 throughout series production with SPC monitoring.

Process FMEA & control plan

FMEA identifying all failure modes with severity/occurrence/detection ratings. Living control plan updated at each process change.

PSW — Part Submission Warrant

Signed Part Submission Warrant from our quality manager, confirming all FAIR requirements are met before series production approval.
